3 Ways to Hire a Personal Trainer

We go through changes in life and health that will bring us to a goal. A change. A hope for a better future. Fitness, personal health, a need to be a better athlete are all great reasons to join a gym. How do you commit? How do you find the right plan and stick to it? How do you get results? Here are three results-oriented plans to get what you need out of your investment:

  1. When your health changes and you need a trainer, but aren’t sure how to go about it – commit your mind to 2x/week for one full year. The professional will take you through a complete cycle of periodization for your specific needs and tailor your plan. With a year you will see health changes, body changes, nutrition gains, and a renewed energy level that you never new existed.
  2. Joining a gym is exciting and fun and new and you don’t need a trainer, you want to see what programs to involve yourself in and play around. I would then hire a trainer 3x/week for 12 weeks. Spending time with someone that can direct your goals, correct your kinetic chain movements, and introduce you to the right people to keep you interested long term is invaluable.
  3. You have no interest and no money to invest in your health but you joined a fitness club anyway. Definitely connect with a trainer for one month. 2x/week for 4 weeks will get you in, get you settled, and teach you so many more things about your body that you didn’t know you needed to learn. The investment is well worth the up front cost and you will gain it back in health care prevention.
